Join us for GLOW RUN 2024 – the 5K’s second year!

Online registration will be open at the end of November 2023. Runners and walkers of all ages welcome!

Race details:

  • Race packet pick up Friday, 3/29: 9 am through 6:30 pm in the PRFC lobby.
  • Parking options:
Parking in the PRFC lot and DMV lot on Crossroad Parkway is available for anyone arriving before 6:45 pm and leaving after 8:45 pm. To ensure the safety of race participants, there will be no entry or exit from these lots from 6:45 to 8:45 pm.
Parking is also available at the Cannon Crossing office complex at the corner of Lovers Lane and Crossroad Parkway. Vehicle entry/exit to this site from Lovers Lane will be accessible during the event.
There will be parking attendants to help guide you.
  • Event times & locations:
7 pm: Kids’ Dash. ¼ mile in length. Course starts in PRFC lot, takes a right on Crossroad Parkway and loops back.
7:10 pm: Free Zumba race warm-up session on the recreation center court.
7:30 pm: 5K Glow Run/Walk. The race starts in the PRFC lot, takes a right on Crossroad Parkway, followed by a left on Industrial Road to the intersection with Lovers Lane, then loops back down Industrial Road to Crossroad Parkway to the intersection with Lovers Lane (6 loops for 5K). Water/medical station at Industrial Road/Crossroad Parkway intersection.
Event is rain or shine!
  • Glow merch available! Glow sticks are included with each registration. Additional glow goodies such as wands, glasses and bracelets will be available for purchase (card, check, cash).
  • Enjoy games & refreshments in the recreation center! Air hockey, ping pong & our multisport & game simulator will be available (first come, first served). Court available for basketball (basketballs available).

Course Map

RULES, REGS & OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for that entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event. If the event is cancelled due to weather, credits and gift cards for the value of registration will be issued.

Course: The course is a horseshoe loop on Crossroad Parkway and Industrial Road.

Hydration: There will be a water station at the cul-de-sac on Crossroad Parkway.

Timing: Participants are welcome to track their own times; professional timing will not be available.

Strollers: For everyone’s safety, we ask that all participants with strollers line up at the back of the race group.

Pets: NO pets are allowed.

No bikes, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards or other types of recreational transportation are allowed.
