Group Exercise Classes

Variety is the spice of life, right? That’s why we offer a range of group exercise classes for you to choose from! Mix it up with heart pumping bootcamp action, or B-Board strength and balance, or yoga. Our group exercise classes effectively support your overall fitness and are always FUN!

These group exercise classes are included in your membership:

B-Board®: A high intensity workout on the innovative B-Board incorporates cardio, strength, core engagement, yoga positions, and stretching – all while improving your balance. No experience is needed; before the class the trainer will introduce the program and the board (which is similar to an inflated paddleboard). Come B part of the fun; you’ll enjoy a great workout!

Beginner Yoga: Build strength, increase flexibility, find focus and invigorate your body through breath & fundamental poses.

Bootcamp: This one-hour session focuses on total body strength followed by dynamic core and cardio movements for maximum calorie output.

Build & Burn: This high energy interval class combines cardio and strength work for a great hour of calorie burning and fitness training. Expect to use different types of equipment – kettlebells, dumbbells, bars and plate – to maximize your training results. Work at your own level.

HIIT: Standing full-body workout with dumbbells to sculpt and strengthen from head to toe. Intervals will be 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off. Medium set of dumbbells will be used in class. This is a NO WRIST workout, meaning no planks, pushups or burpees. Squats and lunges but no jumping. Grab your dumbbells and let’s get to sculpting!

Kettlebell AMPD: Takes heart pumping music and your favorite kettlebell  moves and combines them into calorie torching fun!

LIIT Cardio & Core: This low intensity interval training cardio class is designed to increase your heart rate and burn calories.

POUND®: Using weighted drumsticks & moving to the beat, you’ll find your inner rock star! POUND is an effective & fun way of working out, with cardio & strength benefits, designed for all fitness levels.

Step & Strength: This step class is fun, energetic and exciting! The workout moves between step choreography and intervals of strength exercises designed to get your heart rate up, boost cardio endurance and increase muscle tone.

Tabata: A 30 minute interval-based full body workout. Weights are optional.

Vinyasa Yoga: Develop strength, flexibility, and balance while reducing stress through this flowing moderately cardiovascular style of yoga aligned with breath. Poses range from relaxing stretches to challenging postures and are held for 1-5 breaths. All levels of fitness.

Xtreme Hip Hop Step: A new level for traditional step aerobics! Routines are set to old and new school hip hop that makes you want to get up and move while getting a great caloric burn and stronger cardiovascular abilities AND relieving stress! 45 minutes; all fitness levels.

Taekwondo: Taekwondo is a Korean martial art characterized by its emphasis on a fast kicking technique which helps enhance self-esteem by heightening your physical and mental powers. Taekwondo for children and adults is held twice weekly.

The Taekwondo program is included in membership for PRFC Fitness or All Access memberships. Non-members may drop in to a class ($20 fee). There is a fee for USA Taekwondo registration. Read more about Taekwondo
