  • Scholarships are available for income eligible families; please inquire at the front desk.
  • All Access members receive 10% off the camp fee.
  • All camps will meet in the recreation center.
  • Campers should bring their own water bottle and snacks.

TUMBLING with PRFC instructors Rebecca Bennett and Megan Gray

Children ages 6-12 are invited to join a tumbling mini session this summer!

Second session: July 10, 17, 24 & 31! Classes on Monday evenings, $40 (four 1-hour classes).

The first class of each session will be used to assess participants’ skill level.

Beginner/Intermediate group, 5:45 – 6:45 pm (FULL): This class will work on handstands, forward and backward rolls, cartwheels and bridge and additional skills such as backbends and roundoffs depending on the participant’s ability.

Intermediate/Advanced group, 7:00 – 8:00 pm. This class will work on adding handsprings and combinations to the skills above.


BASEBALL CAMP with coach Brandon Mack & elite college baseball players from the Culpeper Cavaliers, Culpeper’s new Valley Baseball League franchise! 

Description: All positions are welcome. Camp participants will receive instruction from a diverse group of high level college ball players from all over the country. The Culpeper Cavaliers collegiate summer baseball team franchise is operated by Culpeper Community Baseball. The organization’s mission is to provide a fun-filled, family-oriented, memorable experience and be a model program in terms of helping youth and the community in general. Don’t miss this opportunity for high level baseball instruction and recreational fun!

Coach Brandon Mack played college baseball at Chowan University and earned All-CIAA conference honors twice. His three years of summer ball were played in the Valley Baseball League for the Luray Wranglers. Following his playing career, Brandon began coaching. He has coached in the Valley Baseball League for the Cannons for 3 years and for 9 years at the high school level.


ATHLETE SCULPTING CAMP: Strength Training X Speed & Agility Training with Marcus Haywood 

Description: Learn how to build and improve the strength, balance, speed, agility and movement needed for better sports performance by any athlete, at any level, on any playing surface. There will be modifications and advancement available in each exercise and drill for each athlete. Athletes will need water, tennis shoes, and a towel.

Participants will work with Marcus Haywood, a certified functional strength coach and certified personal trainer. More than ten years of working with clients of all ages has developed his expertise in supporting athlete performance training, strength and conditioning, and weight loss goals. He has worked with individual and team training and taught the sports performance class for youth at PRFC. For the second year, Marcus was recently voted “Best Trainer” in the Star Exponent’s annual survey, Best of Your Hometown.


GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL Clinic with Heather Boggess 

Description: Join Eastern View High School JV coach Heather Boggess in this weeklong clinic and build your game skills! This clinic welcomes all individuals from upcoming 8th graders to high school regardless of skill.  Participants will review and build on basic volleyball skills. They will also learn the defensive and offensive skills of serving, passing, setting, hitting and blocking through conditioning and multiple volleyball drills and games. Be ready to work hard, sweat, but most importantly, have fun!


GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL Clinic with Olivia Masaitis 

Description: Camp participants will review and build on basic volleyball skills. They will also learn the defensive and offensive skills of serving, passing, setting, hitting and blocking through conditioning and multiple volleyball drills and games. For anyone who has their eye on volleyball as a high school sport, this developmental camp will help build the skills and understanding of game play to prepare for high school tryouts. Camp manager Olivia Masaitis has 7 years of experience coaching volleyball players of all ages and levels. During her time playing with the Eastern View High School Cyclones and Greensboro College Pride, she was a defensive specialist. Olivia is currently the health & physical education teacher at Culpeper Floyd T. Binns Middle School.


Clubhouse on the Courts Camp with Eileen Moore & Suzanne Wirtz

Description: Our court-based games, obstacle courses & more, plus imaginative play & crafts – all to encourage movement, curiosity and creativity! Children should wear sneakers, bring a water bottle, and be able to use the restroom independently.


ADVANCED BASKETBALL CLINIC FOR HIGH SCHOOL BOYS with James Thompson

Description: Advanced basketball skills and drills for high school athletes (boys) focusing on overall player development. Coach Thompson coaches the Culpeper County High School boys’ varsity team. Passing, dribbling, defensive, shooting, rebounding & ball handling drills with 1 ono 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and full court game play!
