IRON ATHLETE for high school athletes
Youth athletes are invited to join personal trainer Edson Appleton for three sports performance clinics: SPEED LAB, VERTZONE and IRON ATHLETE. With over 13 years of experience in health, fitness, and sports, Edson has worked as a strength & conditioning coach for athletes at all levels, a personal trainer, and a youth sports coach. His journey began as a Division 1 athlete and continued as a firefighter, shaping his ability to perform at a high level; even under the most demanding circumstances. Edson led PRFC’s 3-day Youth Sports Performance Camp for youth athletes during summer 2025.
3-class series: $50 (individual classes, $20)

6:00 – 7:00 pm
This strength training clinic introduces athletes to the core movement patterns needed for athletic power: squat, hinge, push, pull, and carry. Learn how to move safely under load using barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, and bodyweight to build confidence, muscle, and total-body strength.
Objectives:
- Learn 5 foundational strength movements
- Improve lifting form and body awareness
- Build full-body power for athletic performance
- Enhance mobility, posture, and stability
- Develop confidence in the weight room.
