Have your eye on playing girls volleyball at the collegiate level? Don’t miss tryouts to join a college prep program at PRFC this winter! This program will include weekly practices and 3 tournaments. The tryouts are for girls in 9th – 12th grade.
Tryouts: November 4 & 5, 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Both days are not required but are encouraged. Tryout fee: $30/player. Pre-registration required; please call our front desk at 540-825-000 to register. Try outs are competitive and do not guarantee a spot on the team.
Winter program description: This program will provide high school-aged girls with the opportunity to build their fundamental skills and knowledge, enhance their volleyball IQ and take their game to the next level. This program is designed to prepare participants for college volleyball. It is ideal for anyone who cannot make the financial or time commitment to traditional travel leagues but would like the same quality instruction.
Program coach Olivia Masaitis has 7 years of experience coaching volleyball players of all ages and levels and is currently the girls’ volleyball coach at Culpeper County High School (CCHS). During her time playing with the Eastern View High School Cyclones and Greensboro College Pride, she was a defensive specialist. Olivia is also the health & physical education teacher at Culpeper’s Floyd T. Binns Middle School. She will be assisted by Rebecca Bennett, the assistant coach at CCHS.
